DISTURBED: New Video Interview With DAN DONEGAN Available
March 11, 2009Musician Photo Journal conducted an interview with guitarist Dan Donegan of Chicago's DISTURBED on February 27, 2009 when the band played Utica, New York with SEVENDUST and SKINDRED. Watch the six chat in two parts below.
DISTURBED's schedule is fully packed for the rest of the winter and spring, with the Music As A Weapon trek starting up in late March, and a probable European festival run following that. But singer David Draiman told The Pulse of Radio that the band is also hoping to return to the Middle East and play for U.S. troops again at some point. "You know, that really all depends on the opportunity and the situation," he said. "We really would love to. We've always made it a blanket policy with us that any opportunities that come up involved with anything USO-oriented, or anything for the troops, that we definitely want to put our hat in the ring first and foremost. So we're always all about that."
DISTURBED and FILTER performed on March 10, 2008, in Kuwait as part of Operation MySpace, a three-hour concert event for U.S. troops that also featured the PUSSYCAT DOLLS, JESSICA SIMPSON, and others.
The fourth edition of DISTURBED's Music As A Weapon tour begins on March 20 in Madison, Wisconsin, and stretches into mid-May, with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, LACUNA COIL, and CHIMAIRA also on the bill.
